Day 2 at re:Invent 2022

Day 1:

So onto Day 2 of re:Invent, a bit of a slower one for me as the Jet Lag is starting to kick in, but I managed to get to some great events and meet some great people.

First up was the Adam Selipsky Keynote, with some great stories of customers on AWS and some great product launches. I actually covered some of these in Day 1, such as Amazon Datazon and Opensearch Serverless, but there were other great launches as well.

Amazon Security Lake with its integration with the Open Cybersecurity Schema Framework (OCSF) to allow for standardization of security events and logs, allowing use of the Lake to gather valuable information.

Amazon Simspace Weaver has some interesting technology, for building simulations across multiple instances of Unity or Unreal Engine, with entities able to move from one instance to another seamlessly.

In the afternoon I was able to attend a round table with other AWS Ambassadors for a discussion around all things partner related, which was informative and very useful.

I then met up with my fellow Community Builders for a networking event in Mr Chow’s where I was able to chat with other Community Builders in person.

I then attended the EMEA Networking reception, where i was able to speak to other partners and customers, as well as AWS team members from around EMEA. I didn’t sadly get photos of this one, but it was a large event.

Coming up, Day 3, with the AI/ML Keynote, the Partner keynote.
