CIRRUSHQ REACH MILESTONE MEMBERSHIP ACROSS THREE AWS USER GROUPS

News home

We are delighted that this week we have reached a milestone 1,000 members in each of the User Groups which CirrusHQ run! AWS User groups are peer-to-peer communities which meet regularly to share ideas, answer questions, and learn about new services and best practices.

Here at CirrusHQ we have the honour of running the Amazon Web Services User Group Glasgow which has seen our 1,000 member join this week. This group meets once a quarter and we are pleased to be back running in person events after a hiatus over the past few years. Our friends at JPMorgan & Chase are kindly hosting our next event on 25th April in their Glasgow offices and we’d love to meet some of the new faces in the group. These events are always a fantastic opportunity to network with your peers, as well as hear from some of the most knowledgable in the community; and with pizza and beer on offer, what is not to love?! Why not visit our Meetup page and see what we have in store for April – we hope yo see you there!

Not only do we run the Glasgow User Group but we also run the AWS User Group in Edinburgh which has over 1,300 members and the Edinburgh DevOps Meetup with over 1,500 members! At CirrusHQ we are proud to participate in these community activities as they create a valuable opportunity for attendees and hosts alike to share their AWS knowledge.

We are looking forward to reinstating the DevOps Meetup after a short break and are already planning the next Edinburgh User Group for the end of May, so watch this space for more information!
