As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will have the exciting opportunity to help customers make the transformational move to AWS by understanding their business opportunities and demonstrating the unique benefits of solving them with CirrusHQ. 

You will be responsible for

  • Driving sell-with activity with our most strategic partner AWS
  • Working with the internal AWS demand generation teams and account managers, to identify potential prospects and customers and qualify existing leads
  • Establishing and growing sales, business and technical relationships with the AWS field teams and driving a comprehensive co-sell plan
  • Expanding our relationships with customer facing AWS teams in all vertical segments including Account Managers, Sales Managers, Sales Overlays and Capture Teams using meetings, cold calling, email, and social outreach to educate and inspire prospective supplier and customer contacts on how our solutions can add support them in meeting their goals.
  • Working with AWS contacts to ensure strong alignment of priorities
  • Understanding the AWS product sets and the structure and processes behind selling them
  • Use your experience in sales and technology to liaise with a wide range of customers across all industries, levels and departments.  

A successful BDR should be eager to learn and develop themselves, and be a self-starter with a strong interest in technology and business. The candidate should be prepared to perform against goals and consistently meet targets, with a focus on delivering results for customers through solutions aligned to their business goals and outcomes. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Interest in developing a career in cloud computing
  • Self-starter with highly developed interpersonal skills, decisive, and results oriented
  • Highly organised
  • Skilled networker
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Entry-level experience in account management and/or technical background

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with, and/or having knowledge of AWS and existing cloud technologies
  • Experience navigating prospective accounts from and into a senior executive level to identify new customer opportunities
  • Skilled at presenting, at a high level, a technical solution to prospects and customers relevant to their industry or target market.
  • Knowledge to differentiate and understand various IT roles and responsibilities
  • Successful experience in account management or customer facing role in B2B environments, preferably in a technology-related environment
