CirrusHQ, the leading AWS Education partner in the UK, are delighted to have hosted a joint live webinar with the University of Oxford and AWS.

The live event entitled “How the University of Oxford Took Its Museums’ Collections Into the Cloud” was hosted by Daniel Bacelic, Education Partner Lead at AWS and brought together Peter Jackson, Business Architect at CirrusHQ and Anjanesh Babu, Lead Architect at the University of Oxford Museums.

Daemonn Brody, MD of CirrusHQ stated “We wanted to bring to life the journey of a fantastic cloud solution, delivered by CirrusHQ, from design to build, and demonstrate just how effective a scalable and secure AWS infrastructure could be.”

The webinar also covered the AWS ‘Courtesy Onboard Program’ which supports education institution’s cloud journey. The programme provides workshops, led by an AWS partner such as CirrusHQ, that enable a customer to bring a workload online that meets stakeholders needs.

Brody added “The Courtesy Onboard Programme allows Education establishments to speed up the move to public cloud and take ideas from page to reality in a very short space of time and can be supported by subsidies from AWS.”
